LTPS GIVING CAMPAIGN
Since 1992, LTEF has helped to bring additional resources to our schools by funding teacher grants. We encourage and welcome all employees of the district to support LTEF with donations.
Lawrence Township Public Schools Faculty and Staff can support LTEF by signing up to contribute via payroll contribution, or by making direct donations.

Faculty-Staff Giving Campaign FAQs:
What if I am already enrolled to give to LTEF?
If you are already enrolled in the payroll contribution program for a donation to LTEF, there is nothing else you need to do, unless you would like to change your donation amount. To change the donation amount, please fill out the Faculty-Staff donation form.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. LTEF is a registered 501(c)3 so whether you make a one-time donation or give through ongoing payroll contributions, your contribution is tax-exempt. You will receive an acknowledgement from LTEF for use in preparing your taxes.
If I choose to make a one-time donation, does LTEF accept checks or credit cards?
For one-time donations, LTEF accepts checks (made payable to LTEF) or credit cards. Secure credit card donations may be made here.
Who administers the program? How often will my pledge be deducted from my paycheck? Do I need to renew yearly? The LTPS Payroll Department administers the program. Your pledge will remain in effect until you authorize a change. All faculty and staff giving pledges are based on 20 pay periods per year.
“Friend of the Foundation” Donations
The Lawrence Township Education Foundation relies on the support of the Lawrence community to enhance public education in Lawrence Township. Your donation will be used to bring innovative programs to classrooms in all seven public schools in Lawrence Township. Gifts are 100 percent tax-deductible and can be made by check or secure credit card transaction here. All gifts are appreciated.
Levels of support are as follows:
Friend – Up to $50
Investor – $50-$99
Benefactor - $100 - $179
180 CLUB – $180
Patron – $181 -$499
Partner in Excellence - $500+

Arrange for a Matching Gift
Many employers will match their employees’ charitable contributions and volunteer time. By participating in your company’s matching gift program, you can double or even triple your investment in public school education in Lawrence Township. Check with your Human Resource Department to see if your company will match your gift.
Memorial & Honor Gifts
A gift to LTEF can be a fitting tribute for a teacher, retired teacher, or even a grandparent who values the education opportunities available to their grandchildren. A gift to LTEF also may serve to mark a special occasion for someone special or may serve as a donation in lieu of flowers.
Honor the memory of a loved one or designate LTEF for donations in lieu of flowers. An acknowledgement of your donation will be sent to a designated person of your choosing.
Planned Giving
Naming LTEF in your will, as beneficiary of your retirement plan, or life insurance policy can offer significant tax benefits. Those tax benefits can be further leveraged with a little planning. Contributions to LTEF qualify as charitable deductions for federal income tax purposes and may help reduce estate tax liability. Your attorney or financial advisor can best provide tax information specific to your situation.
