Howard Azer is president of his own accounting firm, Howard Azer Associates. He and his wife, Laurie, have two children in the Lawrence Township school system. Howard is impressed with LTEF's 85 percent return -- directly to the schools -- of all funds raised, an unusually high percentage for a nonprofit. As a trustee, he will focus on fundraising, financial management and public relations. <BACK>
Mary W. Barrett joined LTEF in 2007 to contribute to and support great public education in the Lawrence Township schools. Ms. Barrett previously served on the Board of Lawrenceville Main Street as head of its Business Development Committee. She has coached recreation soccer in the Township and is involved in various community activities. Since 1998, she has been employed by Stark & Stark as an attorney in its Community Associations practice group representing a specific type of non-profit corporation. She and her husband, Robert Andreas, live in Lawrenceville and have one daughter who attends school in the Township.<BACK>
Ms. Brobst has been a Lawrence Township resident for the past 15 years, working as a software developer for Merrill Lynch. She has served on the Lawrence Intermediate School PTO board for five years, the last two years as President. She has frequently volunteered her time to help the Lawrence Township Public Schools and Girl Scouts, serving as a Girl Scout troop leader for her two daughters' troops. Ms. Brobst sees the foundation as a next step in continuing her support for our schools and helping to create an even more enriching environment for the children both emotionally and academically. <BACK>

Carla Cheifetz has served as Executive Director of Lawrenceville Main Street since January 2007. Prior to joining Main Street Carla was employed by Sovereign Bank for 10 years as an Assistant Vice President in the Sales Management Department. Carla moved to Lawrenceville in 1997 with her husband Jonathan and two children who attend Lawrence public schools. She has been involved with many PTO committees and held board positions at Eldridge Park School. Carla has also been involved with Rotary and held a 2 year board position as Secretary following a 5 year term as President of the Lawrenceville Rotary Club. In 2003 Carla was chosen and sent by Rotary International to represent the USA as a Good Will Ambassador to the country of Brazil. As a local Rotarian she is very active with many programs in conjunction with Rotary and the Lawrence Public School, and Meals on Wheels. Carla also is Lawrence School District's coordinator and coach for the Odyssey of the Mind program.<BACK>
Carole has been a resident of Lawrence since 1995. She and her husband, John, have three daughters in the public schools. Carole has an accounting degree from Indiana University of PA. She is a past member of the Lawrence Township Board of Education and has been the PTO President of Eldridge Park Elementary, Lawrence Middle School and Lawrence High School. She views the LTEF as an outstanding avenue to directly contribute to the education of all children in Lawrence Township. <BACK>
Elizabeth Duffy has been headmaster of The Lawrenceville School since 2003. She has an A.B. from Princeton University, and M.B.A. & A.M. from Stanford University. She serves as the chief executive officer of the School reporting to the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the overall management of the School. She has two children attending Lawrence Township public schools. <BACK>

Patricia "Pepper" Evans is proud to add her name and her energies to the Board of Trustees of the LTEF. Before her children were born, Pepper both owned and operated her own business and made her love of reading a part-time job as a research assistant to local authors. She has traveled extensively but never moved away from home-a Mercer County resident for 40 years, fifteen in Lawrence. She was a founding member and first board president of The Exchange Club, now operating as HomeFront. She was the president and founder of The MOMS Club of Lawrenceville East. She is a Girl Scout leader and part of the Service Unit Team, has coached and managed soccer teams, and is active in the PTO's serving as the PTO president of Eldridge Park School for 2005-2006. Pepper has two daughters in Lawrence Township public schools.<BACK>
Dr. Freeland has lived in Lawrence Township for more than fifteen years and and has been a trustee since 2003. He is the Associate Director of the Survey Research Center at Princeton University and a Lecturer at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Ed and his wife Janine have four children, all of whom attend the Lawrence public schools.<BACK>
Eleanor Horne serves as Vice President of the ETS Social Investment Fund. The Social Investment Fund provides financial support for the achievement of ETSs mission. Its charter is to seek and obtain external grants that will augment the companys internal funding, and then thoughtfully allocate the funds to its constituents in a manner consistent with ETSs mission.
Fiona Herr-Humphreys is a product of, and strong believer in, a well-rounded public school education. Her early interest in the sciences eventually led to a PhD degree in biochemistry from Vanderbilt University. She has worked at Rutgers University and ETS and is currently engaged in freelance medical writing. She has been an active volunteer in the schools for several years. She and her husband have lived in Lawrence for 12 years and their four children are currently enrolled and thriving in the Lawrence school system. <BACK>
The Township Manager is the chief executive and chief administrative officer of the Township government. Responsibilities of the Manager include the appointment and removal of Township personnel (except appointments made by Township Council pursuant to State law), the supervision of all departments of the Township government, the negotiation of contracts, the preparation of the budget, the management of municipal property and the coordination of departmental activities. <BACK>
Ms. Kreger joined the board in 2001. Her commitment to public education and desire to enhance learning opportunities in the district led to her interest in the Foundation. Ms. Kreger participates in numerous PTO activities, has coached and supported a variety of youth sports and served on a Lawrence High School task force focusing on student responsibility and discipline. She serves as Chairman of the Lawrence Township Juvenile Conference Committee, and is a former Trustee of Meals on Wheels, and the Lawrence High School Dollars for Scholars program. Ms. Kreger has lived in Lawrence for over twenty years and has three children. She is a shareholder with the law firm of Stark & Stark. <BACK>
Dr. Crystal M. Lovell is the Assistant Superintendent for Lawrence Township Public Schools. She earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University; a masters degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University; and a bachelors degree in Secondary Education from Penn State University. Dr. Lovell is very involved in enhancing and improving curriculum and instruction, providing quality professional development and training for teachers and striving to put Lawrence Township Public Schools on the map as the number one public school in the nation. She is married and has three daughters. <BACK>
Bruce R. McGraw is a 28 year resident of Lawrence Township, graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Organizational Theory) and Bucknell University (Philosophy), and retired Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Lawrence Township. As Assistant Superintendent, Dr. McGraw oversaw curriculum, instruction, and special services. His wife, Jean, teaches history at Notre Dame HS. His two sons graduated from Lawrence High School. Dr. McGraw serves on the Board of the Children's Home Society of New Jersey and is an elder of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, serving as chair of the Haitian Task Force leading medical teams to Haiti five times. He is a member of the National Response Team for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, responding to national emergencies. He also serves as a member of the Community Emergency Response Team for Lawrence Township. <BACK>
Mr. Philip Meara has been the Superintendent of Lawrence Township Schools since March 20, 2006. <BACK>
Dave Middlebrook has lived in Lawrence Township for over 10 years. His professional work is focused on technology and reading. He is the inventor of a screen interface and toolkit for digital books and is the founder of The Textmapping Project, which promotes the use of paper scrolls in the classroom. He and his wife Amy have a daughter who is a student in the Lawrence Township schools. <BACK>
Mr. Rossi was born in Princeton but grew up in Lawrence, attending Lawrence Township Public Schools before heading off to Seton Hall University for college. Although he now lives in Pennington, Gary is the branch manager of First Choice Bank on Whitehead Road. He is a member of the Mercer Chamber of Commerce, St. Ann's Church in Lawrenceville, and an active volunteer for Lawrenceville Main Street. His wife is Associate Dean of Students at the Pennington School. They have 3 children nearing the end of their high school and college years. <BACK>
Diane Senerth (Executive Director/Ex Officio)
Ms. Senerth has served as the part-time Executive Director of the LTEF since 1998. Her commitment to public education began in the 1970s when she taught in a public high school and continued as she became involved in textbook and curriculum development. Ms. Senerth's two daughters are graduates of Lawrence High School. Diane has been an active community volunteer in the greater Trenton area and serves on several volunteer boards. She is one of the founding members of the New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership, a support network for area local education foundations.
As Executive Director of LTEF, Diane serves as a link between the nonprofit and the Lawrence community and its schools. She serves as an ex officio member of the Grant Review Committee and is responsible for the daily operation of the LTEF offices (located in the Village of Lawrenceville). <BACK>
Romy Toussaint has resided in Lawrenceville since 1985. She and her husband John Annand have fours sons who attend Lawrence Township Public Schools. Romy is currently a stay-at-home mom and a yoga and fitness instructor. She coaches soccer and volleyball and has been involved in running one of the Cub Scout packs in Lawrenceville. Prior to staying-at- home, Romy worked at ETS as a Program Officer with the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Computer Based Testing Programs, and the National Teachers Exams. Romy holds a degree from the University of Rochester in French and International Relations.<BACK>
Beverly joined the LTEF in 2007. She is a product of the Lawrence public schools and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Although she refers to her job title as a stay-at-home mom, she is rarely at home. She has been and continues to be involved in a variety of Lawrence public school committees and PTOs. She and her husband Dennis are proud to call themselves the parents of three wonderful daughters, all attending Lawrence public schools.<BACK>
A strong supporter and advocate of the great public schools in Lawrence Township, Jen joined the Board of LTEF in the Spring of 2004 and hopes to bring her love and talent for Fundraising to help increase private support. Jen has worked in the field of Development at Fordham University, Monmouth University and served as the Associate Director of Annual Giving for the Rutgers University Foundation. A stay-at-home mom since her oldest daughter was born, Jen enjoys her LTEF endeavors as well as volunteering at her children's schools and being a Girl Scout Leader. Jen holds a degree in Economics from Fordham University and a Masters in Educational Statistics and Measurement from Rutgers University. She has lived in Lawrenceville since 2000 with her husband John and their three children. <BACK>
Ms. Wrobel is an owner of the Creative Marketing Group, a marketing research consulting firm. She joined the LTEF Board in 2001 and is interested in promoting and enhancing the educational opportunities provided to all students in Lawrence Township Public Schools. During her LTEF tenure, she has served as Public Relations chair, Vice President and President. Theresa has been a girl scout troop leader, coached youth sports and been involved in the Ben Franklin and LIS PTO's. She has two children who attended Lawrence Township Public Schools. <BACK>
Marian Zelazny has lived in Lawrenceville with her family since 1988. She has two children now enrolled at Lawrence High School, so her commitment to supporting public education in Lawrence Township is partly personal, but it is also based on a strong belief that education holds the means to improve lives, and that it is in society's best interest to provide quality public education for all children. Marian sees her support of LTEF in its mission to foster educational excellence, creativity, and achievement in the Lawrence Township Public Schools as a way to act on her beliefs. Marian holds a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on intercultural communication, and she serves as Administrative Officer for the School of Historical Studies at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.<BACK>
