Recent Grant Recipients
In its first 10 years, LTEF gave out awards to approximately 300 grant recipients. Of those, 196 were still employed by the district in September 2002. Approximately 150 are in this photo taken on the LTEF's 10th anniversary.

The Lawrence Township Education Foundation of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that fosters educational excellence, creativity, and achievement in the Lawrence Township Public Schools by providing grants for projects & programs, generating corporate & private financial support, and encouraging contributions of volunteer time.

We were privately founded in 1992 by conmunity members, educators, and business leaders who recognized the need to devote additional resources to the Lawrence Township public schools. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed over $1,700,000 for over 350 programs and projects in all of Lawrence Township’s public schools.

Above all, the foundation promotes excellence in the Lawrence Township public schools, through grant programs that promote innovation in the classroom, training of our teachers, and involvement of parents and community. LTEF is also a charter member of the Central New Jersey Education Foundation Partnership. We hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about the foundation and the people, organizations and businesses that have contributed to its success.

If you are not currently supporting us as a Friend of the Foundation or volunteering your time and talents, we hope you will join us.

If you have any questions about the foundation feel free to contact a board member you may know or call our Executive Director, Diane Senerth at (609) 219-0340. We look forward to hearing from you.
