was happy to show off the students' prints and said that his customers enjoyed
them as well. |

math-related games and manipulatives are used in K-3 classrooms to reinforce
skills and are available as a lending library for students to bring home.
Parents can work with their children to practice skills and to offer
encouragement. All materials are marked with a label crediting Merrill Lynch's
contribution. |

The climbing team at
Lawrence High School received LTEF funds to install an indoor climbing wall
that has been a huge hit with students and teachers alike. |

| Ducks have made a home in the safe haven of
the LHS pond. Students created the ecosystem as part of an environmental
project funded by LTEF. The project required the students to design the space
from scratch. |

at Slackwood Elementary demonstrated the Caring Pillars of Character by making
life-sized portraits of themselves, and then they wrote how another student in
class showed caring. |

| In its first 10 years, LTEF gave
out awards to approximately 300 grant recipients. Of those, 196 were still
